Happy Day in the Office
What a fun day in Beverly Hills! Christmas weekend is over and the sun is out in all its glory. I saw a lot of happy patients today in the office today.
Patient 1
Patient 1 is a recent rhinoplasty who unwrapped her Christmas gift that was hidden under a nasal splint. She was pleased to see a more tilted nose. Unfortunately, the final result will remain wrapped under swollen skin for the neck year.
Patient 2
Patient 2 is a happy breast augmentation patient from England who flew in just for her consult. While she wavered between a “B” cup and “C” cup, I can tell you almost every woman who choses a “B” wish they would have chosen a “C”. But the “bigger is better” motto is the American Way. I’m not so sure the same rules apply to the Brits who tend to be a bit more conservative. Except when it comes to fashion. Which is interesting, actually.
I’ve always wondered why designers such as Paul Smith, Alexander McQueen, and Vivienne Westwood produce some of the most daring designs in the background of stereotypical dry, tame London? And, how did she know I was wearing a Paul Smith shirt and suit without even an ounce of solicitation? But I digress…

Patient 3
Patient 3 is a woman who wanted fat grafting to her face. She was in her 30s and had developed a tired looking appearance. For her, the goal was to turn back the clock without making her look different or “done”. The temporary options that exist to meet these common desires include dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm. The permanent option is facial fat grafting. Fat grafting is a safe and reliable way to rejuvenate the face.
Facial fat grafting is when fat is removed from one area of the body and injected into the face. The areas targeted for fat transfer include under the eyes, lips, cheeks, and temples.
